Again? Seriously?

What’s going on in the skies these days? It seems like every few hours, we get another update about a flight gone awry, whether it’s a plane that mysteriously filled with smoke or a flight that had every bit of its technology fail at the same time.

Now, it appears that there has been yet another in-flight incident—although this time, it was thankfully only a near miss. While landing at Chicago’s Midway airport, a Southwest flight very nearly crashed into a private jet, a situation that was narrowly avoided thanks to the quick thinking of the pilot.
