Going to weddings can be kind of a chore. But one part of the experience almost everyone looks forward to is the “eating” part. Free food and drinks? Sure, I’ll put up with talking to the bride’s worst cousin for a taco bar!

However, like all things in life, some people can get a little too passionate about this sort of thing. Take, for example, this wedding in India, where a dispute over fried chicken led to a brawl so severe that the police needed to be called.

Apparently, one of the menu items on offer at this wedding was fried chicken. Fair enough; who doesn’t love fried chicken? Unfortunately, some guests thought the fried chicken was being unevenly distributed. While there were attempts to rectify this, they were seemingly inadequate — and soon, a fight broke out amongst attendees.

In the end, the police were called and 15 people were injured. Judge all you want, but I’ve definitely had some fried chicken in my life that would be worth throwing a few fists.
