The White House Promotes CBD Drops as the Cure-All to Aging

Cannabis stocks are up today after President Trump shared a video on Truth Social touting the senior health benefits of cannabidiol (CBD).

A few months ago, the Trump White House hinted that it was considering rescheduling cannabis from a Schedule 1 substance to a Schedule 3 substance. And now, after his public embrace of CBD, the markets are taking notice.

The video in question, which was produced by The Commonwealth Project, includes a clip of Fox News’ Bret Baier quoting a report that estimates the U.S. would “save $64 billion a year, if cannabis is fully-integrated into the healthcare system.”

Hey, those are some sky-high savings — emphasis, of course, on high.
