Some hazards on the road can take you by surprise. For example, if you’ve ever driven down a country road, you know how sudden and frightening an encounter with a deer can be. What are they doing? Hasn’t the fact that all of their friends have been killed crossing the road give them some notion that it’s a bad idea?

Other hazards, however, are pretty easy to avoid. To offer another example, if you see a tree that’s fallen on the road, simply do not run your car into it. This is a lesson that the woman in the video below apparently didn’t learn (though, hopefully, she’s learned it now).
