During COVID, people became a lot more comfortable with the idea of a court appearance via Zoom. On paper, this seems great for all parties involved — less headache for the accused, less danger for the people in the courtroom and less in-between time shuffling through cases. All good, right?

Eh, kind of? While some things are certainly easier with Zoom court appearances, people have really let themselves get too casual in such circumstances now.

First, we had the guy call into court from his car despite not having a license. Now, we have this woman, who interrupted her own court appearance to make herself a little snack.

In fairness, who doesn’t love peanut butter and jelly?
