This woman was scooting along when she suddenly encountered a motorcyclist's worst nightmare: being hit by a car.

If this wasn’t bad enough, the force of the accident propelled her off her bike and straight into a local sewer, where it took a team of people to pull her out.

Thankfully, she survived, though she did require extensive surgery. Be careful on your bikes out there, guys — and be mindful of any nearby storm drains.
