In a relationship, there are many things that your partner says that you can just tune out. I know, it’s not nice to say, but we all do it every once in a while — she doesn’t want to hear you talk about how you’ve spent the past six hours learning how to the make the Skrillex sound in Serum, and you don’t want to hear about whatever murder she heard about on a podcast.

See? There’s a balance there.

Something you should never tune out from your partner, however, is a warning. Here’s why:
