Woman Opens Emergency Door on Plane Because It Made a Noise
Planes make noises sometimes, ma’am.

A woman who said her “boyfriend is a pilot” ruined everyone’s day by attempting to open the emergency exit of an Airbus A320 mid-flight. According to her, the plane was making strange, unsettling noises. These noises were so upsetting that the JetBlue flight needed to be stopped right then and there.
Unfortunately for her (and everyone else on board), those supposedly “dangerous” noises were actually the plane’s perfectly normal “barking dog” noise. This sound is created by the plane’s Power Transfer Unit, which balances pressure between hydraulic systems.
Maybe her pilot boyfriend just didn’t teach her about that — or, more concerningly, maybe he flies a Boeing. Gross!
