Crowther is an AP reporter based in Kyiv, Ukraine. His name went viral 2 years ago during the Democratic presidential debates, for his six-language coverage. Now he's back in the headlines for his incredible work.
Philip was born in Luxemborg. His mother is German and his Father is British. He is a polyglot or multilingual person. He speaks six languages; English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Luxembourgish (Only about 600,000 people speak Luxembourgish worldwide.)
As if that isn't impressive enough, Philip is also the the White House correspondent for France 24. Meanwhile his recent six-language coverage from Kyiv has now gone viral. In comparison the person writing this piece speaks English and Pittsburgh-ese. I took 7 years of Spanish and can ask 'Where is the bathroom?' That's about it.
