The BBC managed to grow much closer to its NSFW shared acronym this week, as the U.K.-based broadcaster issued an apology after a series of pornographic noises punctuated its live pre-match coverage of a recent soccer game. “We apologize to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening,” the network said in a statement shortly after the game on Tuesday night.

While the BBC may have kept in line with the U.K. tradition of keeping a stiff upper lip and evidently, a wet a– nevermind — it seems the interrupted commentator, retired soccer star Gary Lineker, found the horny ordeal a bit more amusing. Shortly after the offending on-air moment, Lineker took to Twitter to sound off on the sexy sounds — and pose some very Breaking Bad-core allegations of sabotage.

“Well, we found this taped to the back of the set,” the former striker wrote alongside a snap of a tape-coated black and gold cell phone — one typically reserved for drug dealers and/or that one sketchy cousin at the family reunion. “As sabotage goes it was quite amusing,” he continued, adding a string of laughing emojis.

But before Lineker or the BBC could call Sherlock Holmes to get to the bottom of this telly caper, the mystery of the porn phone had already been solved. “Yes, it was me that pranked the BBC Match of the Day with the sex Phone :)” Jarvo, a “known prankster” per the Daily Mail, wrote alongside a clip of him seemingly setting up the phone.
