She won’t break your soul, but she’ll sure as hell block your view.

One Beyoncé fan was horrified to discover that their pricey tickets to the singer’s Renaissance World Tour were actually obstructed view after the concertgoer sitting in front of her refused to put down a performance-blocking umbrella.

“Went to Beyoncé’s stadium show and this lady blocked my entire view of the stage…” Redditor u/AkaJokerPlays captioned a photo of the offending attendee. While they asked the umbrella-toting menace in question to “put it away” once the evening’s rain had stopped, the woman refused to comply, leaving them largely unable to see Queen Bey’s show, an inconvenience that set r/mildlyinfuriating seething.

“Most venues won’t allow umbrellas, I’m surprised they let her in with it,” wrote u/chloekatt.  “And if the venue doesn’t allow an umbrella and she snuck it in, I would have complained to security.”

Meanwhile, r/torero15 presented a slightly more aggressive four-step plan as to what they’d do if they were in OP’s (probably rhinestoned) shoes.

After asking “nicely” and giving the woman “a chance to put away the umbrella,” they would then “recruit adjacent fans” and “get semi-aggressive” before getting “stadium security involved.” If all of the above measures failed, they’d take a more classic approach to dealing with assholes, acting “a fucking dickhead” for the rest of the performance.

“Depending on how many beers consumed that umbrella might [sic] get disappeared,” they wrote.

But hey, the umbrella-toting Beyoncé fan should be lucky that OP was sitting behind her and not u/muddymoose, who suggested giving the obnoxious attendee an even more painful taste of her own medicine.

“Yeah I'd just rip that shit and break the fuck out of it,” they wrote. “Beyoncé tickets cost just as much as Taylor Swift tickets. If I saw this next to me, OP rips it and breaks it, and a security guard came over; I'd lie my ass off for OP stating she was trying to stab OP or something.”
