With climate change slowly but surely marching toward us, natural disasters seem to be getting more and more common. Right now, heavy rainfall in multiple countries has produced historic flooding, and areas of New England are experiencing their highest water levels since Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. Spain has been hit hard, and floods in Northern India have killed a minimum of 41 people, with river levels as high as they’ve been since 1978.

Videos of flash floods and rising water levels are all over social media and showcase the dangers of an erratic climate. Here are some of the most striking videos.
