One bull shark recently took the term “eat the rich” to spectacular new heights, attacking an influencer’s boat off of Florida’s Atlantic coast.

On Monday, fishing creator @blacktiph headed to Instagram to flaunt his most recent L, revealing that he had accidentally lured his friend right into the jaws of a shark attack while attempting to snag two massive fish.

“I was flying my drone at the beach and spotted two huge cobia swimming with a bull shark,” he said. “Cobia is one of the best tasting fish in the ocean so I called my buddy Carl and he raced over to try to catch them.”

Their mission for a tasty dinner — and those sweet, sweet views— quickly went astray, the bull shark nearly destroying the boat’s engine and other parts of the vessel in eight back-to-back attacks.

“The shark attacked the boat five times, swam away and then came back for more,” @blacktiph explained, showing a clip of the fishing boat nearly capsizing while the shark thrashed below the deck.

Naturally, Carl was not too thrilled about landing at the center of a shark attack.

“The boat was shaking like a bag of popcorn,” he recalled of the experience. “This is like a ride from Universal Studios.”

But Carl’s tale of Jaws: The Ride-adjacent woe wasn’t enough to win the internet’s sympathies, commenters flocking to @blacktiph’s video to commend the real, relatable hero of the day — the angry, influencer targeting bull shark.

“Protecting his boys, leave the fish alone,” wrote @kizejah.

“Are you that out of touch you don't see the shark is protecting what you are trying to kill? Serves you right,” said @renatal411.

“I hope the shark is ok,” added @queridamia2002.

Hey, who says orca whales get to have all the fun?
