Though TikTok star Charli D’Amelio may boast an estimated net worth of roughly $20 million, she’s not above a minimum-wage gig … well at least for a very tone-deaf popcorn advertisement.

D’Amelio and her sister, Dixie, found themselves under fire on Saturday after swapping their signature crop tops for the big box store’s blue uniforms, posing as cashiers in a new cringe-inducing advertisement for their Walmart-exclusive snack line, Be Happy Snacks Popcorn.

A play on the formerly-viral “you too” trend, the ill-advised spot featured Charli and Dixie joining an (alleged) Walmart employee on the job after the worker replied “you too” to the sisters wishing her a good day at work.

But the cheeky video, featuring the reality stars pretending to restock their products, check out customers and committing the likely otherwise-fireable offense of riding around in a shopping cart while on the clock backfired, leaving retail workers, service workers and basically anyone who isn’t a mega-rich social media star seething.

“I wish I had enough money to cosplay as a retail worker, so fun being in the working class,” @isabella.boo8 commented on the dancer’s video.

“Wish I was this happy on my 8 hour shifts scanning groceries,” added @reelrokstar, while @__20058 shared their unfortunate experience stumbling across the clip.

“Seeing this after working 12hr shifts 4 days a week to barely afford to live,” they commented.

But hey, maybe Charli and Dixie discovered a new passion during their offensive time at the retailer — to paraphrase, @ilovekittycats710, the D’Amelios deserve to work at Walmart if they evidently love it so much.
