It feels like airlines are constantly coming up with new and increasingly difficult hoops for customers to jump through just to fly from Point A to Point B, but luggage is undoubtedly one of the main areas over which airlines and customers butt heads. Fortunately, some people are not only incredibly persistent but creative as hell, which is how one TikToker has gifted us with the “Instant BBL.”

Flying on Frontier only to be told her personal bag was too large, Shewana took matters into her own hands (and pants). She shoved the bag down the back of her leggings, covering her brand new “BBL” up with a denim jacket tied around her waist.

Despite how ridiculous it sounds, according to a commented response from OP, none of the flight attendants questioned her oversized booty — they probably correctly thought that commenting on the size of a woman’s behind would not go down well.

Commenters were both impressed — “They charged me 99 at the gate, and you’re telling me I could’ve just did this!” — as well as happy to share their own hacks, including throwing everything inside a pillow case and claiming it’s a pillow. One commenter, who identified herself as a Frontier flight attendant, said, “I approve and would open the overhead bin for you!” So it’s nice to know not all airline employees are sticklers for the rules.

@theonpoint1 Replying to @Sash This was before removing items out of the bookbag. I got it flat enough to fit in their bag sizer #wheretheresawilltheresaway #blackgirlmagic ♬ Black Girl Magic - Joshua Kenneth

In a follow-up video after someone asked to see the bag, Shewana revealed that it was a whole-ass backpack that she somehow managed to smuggle in her leggings, which honestly makes it even more impressive, albeit difficult to comprehend, logistically speaking.

Regardless, it was an appropriately outlandish response to an incomprehensible rule.
