If at first you don’t succeed in thwarting wannabe fishermen, try try again … by dunking on their outfit.

That was the approach one peeved lakeside lurker took after realizing that fishing influencer, Blake Jay Abbey — better known by his TikTok username, @uglybritchesfishing — was looking to enjoy a relaxing day on the water.

“Get your a— out of here!’ she snapped at him, ironically pointing towards the lake before muttering something about a license.

Though Abbey attempted to de-escalate their confrontation using the classic, historically Karen-approved tactic of southern charm — “I mean, I just wanna fish, Ma’am,” he said — the woman was having none of these manners.

“No, hell, you can't fish, you don't know how to fish!” she fired back, before taking aim at his outfit.

“You don't even wear the right kind of clothes!” she continued without missing a beat. “You got damn stupid shoes on anyway, where'd you get them ugly britches, you a—hole!”

Though the world may never know where Abbey snagged his offending pants, one thing is certain about their fateful interaction — unlike most Karen sagas, it appears this one has a happy ending.

Shortly after the clip’s first round of viral infamy, Abbey reunited with the woman in question, the two ultimately striking up a friendship, one documented in several follow-up clips depicting the pair dancing, reminiscing and reading the Bible together.

But even though Abbey may have nabbed his new pal’s highly-coveted blessing to go fishing out on the lake, it appears she’s still got that dog — or should we say grouper — in her.

“Don’t put your legs in the water!” she admonished the man in another clip. “You’ll get wet — a fish will bite your toe!”
