Finding a parking spot in a busy lot is always an annoying task. You have to drive around for what seems like forever, only to be repeatedly disappointed by “free” spots that turn out to be partially filled by a motorcycle or a tiny European car.

After a while of searching, however, you come upon an open spot. “Perfect,” you think. Then, as you’re pulling in, this happens:

In the dashcam video, a man can be seen pulling into a parking space. Suddenly, a woman jumps in front of his car to claim it.

“Are you kidding? Go away,” a woman in the car says.

What ensues is a three-minute standoff in which the woman in the parking spot insists that the spot is rightfully hers, while the man behind the wheel and his passenger yell at her for not understanding the basic mechanics of parking.

Soon, the woman is joined by another, older woman, who also insists that the man leave. “You think you can just walk into a space?” he shouts. “Get out of here!”

The full video reveals that the driver eventually gave up and went to a different parking space. That said, users on Reddit claim they would have reacted differently. “I would have put my car in park,” wrote one. “Send for my things and forward my mail. I now live in my car in front of that spot,” declared another. “Should just continuously honk the horn right in their face and blast their eardrums out,” shared a third.

Maybe if you’re this bad at understanding how to park, you should just take the bus.
