The Stuka was a Dive Bomber - The sound it made when it was in a Dive must have been very terrifying to the enemy. Upon the leading edges of its faired maingear legs were mounted the Jericho-Trompete wailing sirens, becoming the propaganda symbol of German air power and the blitzkrieg victories.
