A weird turn of events...

I haven't been on lately because I actually obtained a full time job.  The company I despise the most (temp agency) for fucking me over so many times in the past, finally came through and landed me an awesome job.

I'm driving forklift again for 12 bucks an hour, 40 hours a week.  Not to bad considering my prior state (unemployed, struggling freelancer).   Things are really looking up. I passed all of my driving and safety tests with flying colours.  The owner of the company shook my hand and told me that he heard that I was his best driver.  The project manager basically offered me a promotion 3 weeks into the job to my choice of the welding department or the assembly deparment. All of my supervisors are saying that after 3 months they are going to hire me as one of their full time employees, with an obvious pay increase, benefits, vacation days, and more hours.

I can't really say much about the company, but they make the towers for huge wind powered generators ( http://img1.tradeget.com/unnathisuppliers%5CKPJ73Y5T1wind_power_generator.jpg ) which as we all know is an up and coming industry.  So I guess if I keep on working hard, show up everyday, and not hit anything I'm set.

So I'm a material handler.  I go around dumping garbage totes, and removing material waste out of the many departments of this huge establishment. It's pretty easy, I'm outside all day, and all of the people I work with are nice. Usually you'll be able to pick out the people who are going to be hard to work with right away, but I haven't been able to find anyone who fits that bill yet.  The work environment is awesome, it's even interesting to watch production.... way better than making two to three thousand of the exact same thing per day, everyday.

My life has taken a swift 90 degree turn in the right direction.  It was weird, somewhat unexpected, and muchly needed.  I feel as if I can go far here, and be there for a long time.  I feel like I can plan a ahead more than 2 weeks, and actually achieve some of my long term goals.
