I'm sure this question has been asked in here before, but what is the closest you've ever come to death? I just kind of got curious after looking through some pictures from when I was a kid, and we went out in my dad's friends cigarette boat in the gulf of mexico, and it broke down and I think it started on fire but that could've just been my young mind exaggerating. Either way, it scared the shit out of me but I'm sure other people have had worse, so I'd like to hear some of them.
