In another blog I was reminded of the movie Death Race 2000. I mention it here because a lot of people I know never heard of it. It was made in 1975 and starred  David Carradine, Simone Griffeth and Sylvester Stallone. It was restricted when I was a kid, but there was drive in theater in the area, that we would hide between cars at. We also saw Alice in Wonderland R rated there, but that's another story.

I think it is appropriate at this time because of all the controversy surrounding population control, euthanasia and the high cost of elderly care. This type of game could solve a lot of those problems and provide for some awesome entertainment.

Anyway, the movie was very controversial when it came out, as you will see why. Sorry about the German voice over, but they don't really matter and this was the best clip I could find with the key scenes. The whole movie is available on Youtube I think?

Hot Chicks, fast cars, Blood and Gore, (by the way that's the name of Al Gores law firm), this film has it all!
