I Was Wrong!

I have no idea how this have happened. This was more than just a slight error, and I'm so sorry to whoever got affected. The thing is - when I wrote the He-Man blog, I said that they should make a He-Man live action movie. I had no idea then that it was already made. Ages ago.

With Dolph Lundgren! In 1987!!!!! The movie was Called Masters of The Universe.

The thing that sucks about the film is - it's a plain Hollywood adaptation into an action movie. So you won't get controversy with the homosexual motifs like in the cartoon. You also won't get a story. But you'll get Dolph Lundgren. Nobody even calls him prince there! That movie was pure shit. And had some piece of shit ewok-like dwarf as one of the characters. Where was Orko? He-Man rode a green tiger in the cartoon. No tigers in the movie. The sorceress was older than in the cartoon and wasn't even a furry. That movie was a huge disappointment.

On the other hand, there's good news. The Japanese company Kamuko, the makers of great anime like "Okama Ja Nai!" (known as "I'm Not a Fag!"), "Ore No Chinpo" ("My Younger Sister's Secret") and "Kirei Na Kyonyuu Oneesan Kudasai" ("I Want a Girl With Intellect") confirmed that they are making an anime version of the popular cartoon. He-Man and The Masters of The Universe anime is planned to be aired in early 2012. There's not much info about it yet, but the artwork looks astonishing.

What are your thoughts about the project? You think it's going to be as deep as the original He-Man? Will you watch the new adaptation? Share your thoughts in the comments section below
