Has anyone tried to meditate?? I mean, seriously meditate. There are supposed to be numerous positive effects meditation has on one's body. My therapist suggested that I attempt to meditate every morning before work. I have been trying, but it is fucking hard!! I have also tried to meditate at night before bed and I have the same ineffective results. I mean, I cant stop my mind from thinking. My mind processes so much shit at any given time and I cant turn it off.. I suggest you try to focus on a sound or an image and hold it for an extended period. It is not as easy as you think.. I have a new developed respect for people that truly meditate on a regular basis. They demonstrate powerful mind control.
Apparently, once you practice enough, you can hear/sense your body's internal energy and eventually focus the energy to achieve certain mindsets and such.
If anyone has methods that make meditation easier- let me know.
