So, I was on facebook yesterday, checking my friend's statuses and what have you, when I saw a post from my future sister in-law about the occupy protests that are still going on all over the place.

Her status was: Well CHUFFED that people world wide participated in the MAY DAY protest. HOWEVER, in my opinion, that does not make an impact on Wall Street or Banks. There should have been a mass email/Web campaign encouraging everyone not to use credit cards fora day, only shop at small businesses ie no big chains, yes and that includes... sniff sniff STARBUCKS, use public transport instead of cars, buy no petrol and use CASH..... DO OVER! DO OVER!

Although she means well, I thought about saying "It's not going to work.  But if you wanted to start a boycott for this cause, the first people you should go to are the Occupy Protesters, because they're the only ones who seem to care enough to actually want to do something. "  But I decided not to bring it up.  I let it go, and almost forgot about it until today, when I read her latest post.    "at Starbucks n their playing 80's Ska. nice."  


There's nothing better than the smell of face palm in the morning.
