I wouldn't go so far as to call myself an insomniac, but several times out of the year (7 or 8) I'll tend to stay awake for several days or sometimes even a week in a depressed, erratic state. What I mean by that is that I'll lock myself in my apartment for days, not answer the phone, and either draw or write constantly, sometimes ignoring my own appetite. I don't know why this is, but I try not to think about it. I do, however, like to read or look at the things I write or draw and try to interpret them. Here's a small one I did a year ago.

"The matron of our endless sky

Who's vast womb we must confide

Her face, now withered, cracked and dry

From being Curiosity's eternal bride."

A bit short, yes, but I've managed to read a little more into it. Here's my interpretation:

"The matron of our endless sky" Is, I'm guessing, our Universe. Who is the mother of our clouds, our sun, and the stars, which are endless (just stars. Not clouds or sun). Then the womb, live in the womb of the Universe. Only when we are able to leave the constrictions of our Universe, are we truly born. Now, "Her face, now withered, cracked and dry from being Curisotiy's eternal bride." pretty sure means that because we (humanity as a whole) are curious about the universe, we wish to know everything about it. Starting with the Romanticized ideas about our universe when we first began to think about it. Back then, it was a mysterious as it was dangerous. Yet, now, since we've been with it for so long, it has grown old, dull, and uninteresting. Like a man who has been with his wife for 60 years will find her. So, we drift off more into our imaginations, "cheating" on our universe with younger (albeit fake) universes like WoW or fiction tales.

Think that's about it, not sure if I missed anything. I don't have the most linear thought patterns, sorry. Anyway, I would like to hear opinions or other interpetations. Thanks for reading.
