Well, at least that's what happened to a cashier at Food Lion in North Carolina.
Apparently this 17-year old kid was a cashier/bagger at a Food Lion near Charlotte. He went home for lunch one day and told his mom he'd stole some Hot Pockets, not sure why he felt the need to tell her that - but he did.
Being the awesome mom that I'm sure she is, she told him to go back and tell the manager what he had done. He was worried about getting in trouble but agreed to return. Apparently the manager didn't appreciate his honesty, or the fact the kid just took his store for $2.00 worth of frozen foods.
Sounds like the details get sketchy after this. Apparently he went back to the store, blah-blah-blah, he was asked to leave... police were called to the store.., and the end result is the kid got tasered. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Sounds like he was a good kid for the most part, customers liked him, no previous criminal record. He apparently had some marijuana hidden in his sock, but hey... come on.
I know stranger things have happened, but this one is up there for sure.
