I will be honest, before I saw the movie I was sick of all of the hype Heath Ledger was getting.L  Let's be honest here, he basically killed himself.  Let's look at his movie list: 10 Things I Hate About You, A Knights Tale, Brothers Grimm, Brokeback Mountain... that's all I can think of.  These are all B movies at best - although Alex Max was pretty hot in 10 things.  Anyways, I did not think he was right for the role of Joker.  I saw the movie, and it was great!  His acting was what made the movie.  I am a big fan of Christian Bale, but his voice while he was wearing the sure was just annoying.  The Jokers gesticulations were perfect and on the spot.  He did not over due the role one bit.  Whether or not this is Oscar worthy is unbeknownst to be me, but he did a superb job.  One thing that I was wondering as why this character was "so dark" preventing him from sleeping at knight http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/774013/ He was funny, insane, but funny.
