I've never been a fan of the flu shot, even before the internet and all it's information flanked heavily on both sides with disinformation, it just never rang an intuitive bell with me. So, I have never had a flu shot or a flu of any significance. Now, I know I could be a carrier and not be sick and then give it to some weak person who might suffer and even die. Practically, I never come into contact with those types of people, unless you count shopping carts at the grocery store.  

What gets me confused is why 65% of doctors and nurses, at least in Ontario, see no need for them and they have direct contact with the feeble. Or why is it, some vaccines were found to be contaminated with live viruses that were recalled and other anomalies that put peoples health and life at risk?

If it's so serious, then why does the system fail so badly, that labs that produce the vaccines are so poorly managed that they require being shut down? Is it, no one really gives a shit, but getting the flu shot is the lowest common denominator? 

I'm tired of being told to vote for the lesser of two evils. I want the facts. I'm leery of official recommendations as they seem to be not followed by professionals in the field and are so often proved to be lax in quality.
