Strange things used to happen when I was married to my ex-wife. I believe she had some sort of psychic crap going on or that she had a poltergeist.

For one thing she would often guess correctly a number I would think of or a random card picked from a deck. I once told her that if she guessed the number upon which the marble on a little roulette wheel landed I would do everything she asked for 7 years. She guessed it so a couple days later I put 2 marbles on the wheel and told her I would go double or nuttin' if she picked either of the 2 winning numbers. I spun the wheel and BOTH fucking marbles landed in the square she picked.

Sometimes at night our bedroom light would come on after we turned it off. One night our bedroom door opened by itself. Thinking I had not closed it completely, I made sure to listen for the latch to engage. CLICK. I was in bed for about ten minutes when we heard the creeeek of the door opening. I got goosebumps.

One day she told me that at work (she tended bar in a hotel restaurant) a glass just exploded. She was adamant that it didn't break; it exploded. "Mi Amore," she said with her sweet Spanish accent, "The glass ess-ploded!"

She wasn't the brightest bulb so I shrugged it off thinking she had likely poured ice water into a hot glass from the dishwasher until one day when we were lunching in a local restaurant. The food had just arrived and she reached for the salt. As her hand passed her water glass it EXPLODED! I'm not talking it broke, it sounded like a firecracker. Startled customers turned their heads and the waitress came over to our table.

Shards of glass littered the table and my arm had a small nick. There was glass in our food and on the window sill which was HIGHER than our table!!!

"See, Mi Amore, I tol' you, the glass ess-ploded!" The puzzled waitress looked at me for an explaination. I had none.

We were married for 3 years, 2 of those happily. The poltergeist had nothing to do with our divorce. We just grew apart.
