First off, I want to make this very clear.  High Definition television and DVD's are probably the greatest advances in home theatre for some time.  That being said, they can also be very dangerous to the senses.

I have a 52" Sharp Aquos 1080p.  The picture and resolution are sick.  So sick, in fact, that sometimes I get a bonner just watching TV.  This occurrence leads me to think, "Hey, porn in 1080p would be AWESOME!"  Guess what?  I was wrong.

I obtained a HD porn video from my local upstanding porn peddler.  Came home, shut the blinds, got the hand lotion, a box of Kleenex, and made myself comfortable.  I popped in the Blue ray porn DVD and fast forwarded through the opening credits, as I always do.  The movie started and I thought to myself, "Man, this is going to be awesome".

So, I'm ogling a super hot porn star on the screen with my member growing in anticipation of her getting naked.  "Oh this is going to be gooooood!"  Her buff male costar finally started to suck face with her and get her naked.  This is when things started taking a turn for the worse.  I moved closer to the screen and said to myself, "What the fuck are those?!?" 

Fucking breast implant scars.  That's right.  I could see them as clear as day.  This didn't bother me as much as you would think, for my hard on was still raging.  Big deal.

The dude starts going down on her.  They show a close up...A really close close up.  Fucking razor burns, ingrown hairs, and stubble.  Looked like the guy was munching on a flue ridden porcupine. 

They commenced their jam session.  Again the close up.  Nasty.  I went from a killer hard on to watching a hard on killer. 

Then came the anal close up.  Luckily I had a full box of kleenex to contend with the vomit.

The following weekend I went to the flea market and bought a top of the line VCR (for nine bucks). 

Good ole' VHS.  Blurry, fuzzy, VHS.
