Why do some black people say they want to be called "African American"? Are you from africa? Are you African? If not, then quit demanding to be called that. If you are African or are from Africa then I have no problem with calling you African American. The reason I bring up this issue is because Africa doesn't just have black people. There are white Africans too.

I don't want anyone to think that I'm racist or anthing or that sort. I can't stand racist people. I am just wanting people to know that just because you are black, you aren't automatically "African American"
