I just got a new kitten for my birthday. I introduced them slowly and everything seems okay. They constantly want to be around each other and are chasing each other throughout the house. I think the older one bites a little too hard though. I see him going for the kitten's neck a lot. There is hissing and swatting with their paws (but they don't seem to have their claws out when they swat). It can get decently loud at times. I figure when I separate them, the kitten wouldn't want to go back to playing if it were too rough but he always does. If I close the door, he'll wait by it, wanting the other cat to come in. So, are they playing or fighting?
