My cat is missing.  Wednesday night we let her out to use the bathroom, and we havent seen her since.  Im 30 years old and this is only the third pet Ive had in my life.  I was so young for the first two that I cant even remember them.  Im absolutely gutted!  Sick, is not even close to the word to describe how I feel.  We have called all the local vets in our area, plus the animal hospitals and the local humane society.  The humane society was nice enough to take all of our info, and if anything comes up, there going to call us.  Am I missing anything?  My wife and mother in law are going out tonight to put up some posters with the cats picture our phone number and a reward.  What more can I do?

I always new I was to close to that cat, and now it feels like my hearts has been ripped out of my chest.  Im also feeling anger as well as grief.  Is that normal?  The cat was spoiled rotten, she had such a good life. Im angry with her.  Why?  Why would she put herself in this situation?  I know Im talking about the cat as if it was a human but thats how we always treated it.
