Surprise Friend or How I Stopped Judging and Learned to Like Peo
I love being pleasntly surprised by people. I ususally have the attitude that people suck and if someone is being nice it's because they want something from you. I have met someone within the last few days who is absolutely awesome. We talk to and listen to each other without wanting anything in return. It is a wonderful surprise during this holiday season, which is not the brightest one I have ever had. I have a little bit of faith in humanity again...at least for today. Like Bo said in his blog the other day, get over yourself and do something for someone else. Even if it is just listening to someone who needs to talk. If you do that, they just might listen to you too.
BTW, this person knows who they are...so when (or if) they read this, THANKS!! And it is not my friend Charlie. That bastard is on my shit list. I got a story to tell you about him. I'll save that for another day.
