Correct me if im wrong but it looks as if
she's reinacting something, something that may
have happened to her... She seems to be having
a two way conversation with herself and at one
point she says "Get the hell out of the
house, you don't have a home anymore" and
she afterwards makes a very sad expression
with her face and makes a cringing noise.
Throughout the enactment she is striking
herself... My assessment: She came from an
abussive relationship and was left with
nothing. No education, No job, no home, No
family and possibly a drug addiction. She
rides the subway and sleeps in the
streets/whatever halfway house will take her.
Food is as scarce as good company and clean
clothes and she has little hope. You don't
know what it's like. to relive your painful
past everyday. In misery. Don't feel bad for
her of think less of her. She is just trying
to stay alive like the rest of us.
