Large Hadron Collider Aims to Unlock 'God Particle': Scientists baffled at Image of God.By Jeff Wize

What was to be the discovery of the God particle or Higgs Boson turned out to be more of the discovery of God.
Inside the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), massive, powerful magnets chilled to a few degrees above absolute zero -- colder than outer space -- zipped beams of superenergetic protons and lead nuclei in a loop at speeds within a hairsbreadth of the speed of light, then collided them head-on. The energy released was so vast that the impact  recreated conditions in the universe as they existed just a fraction of a second after the big bang.  The LHC performed as expected, but the results were in no way predicted by this group of world renowned physicists.

"The image of the reaction definitely resembled a human face. At first I thought it was a reflection of someone in the observation chamber, but I was the only one in there as the others were at remote viewing stations", said Robert Aymer, the French physicist who heads the Cern research center.

Professor Giora  Mikenberg from the Department of Particle Physics at the Weizzman Institute said, "we were watching from the Imaging Status Center, the reaction occurred at a tiny fraction of a second, but it felt like it lasted two seconds, as though time briefly stopped".

Katie Yurkewicz, spokeswoman for the US contingent at the Cern project confirmed the results using the Monopole and Exotics Detector at the LHC.
