It looks like New Orleans just can't catch a break. First there's all the blacks, then Katrina, then the ships that collided causing a fuel spill and shutting down the Mississippi River, costing New Orleans 2 billion dollars, and now the water level of the Mississippi River is way up. I just saw on the news that, if it gets 2 feet higher, it may have to be shut down again, which will cost yet another shitload of money.

It may be time to pack it up, Rednote. There's some big names in the blues industry that have come from Virginia. I can't say we have a rich music culture here but Virginia produces great blues and country. Not to mention, we have peanuts, pumpkins, ship building, coal, country hams.
