Kurt Cobain, grew up in pain

It hurt him so much, he could never gain

Anything that he wanted, was just out of reach

His notebooks were pathways,

For disenchanted speech


The things that hed seen

And the memories hed had

Left impressions, and depression

While still just a lad

Heartbroken and weary, he wandered about

Living here and there, always doing without


A broken pinball, like the one in his room

But it was a hard game, that ended too soon.

But before his life, went on too far

He found an outlet, by way of guitar

When plugging into, inner degradation

He plugged into the pain of an entire generation
