Well, it wasn't enough that the Republicans laid off teachers and police officers.  Now they want to lay off firefighters, too.  That makes sense, right?  Yeah.  Especially with all the spontaneous fires occurring here in Texas.  God bless Prick Perry and the former Houston GLBT Political Caucus president,  Annise Danette Parker, who is now the mayor of Houston.

The good news for Houston?  Although they did lay off 700 city employees this month, no police or firefighters will receive layoff notices this year and corporations got their tax breaks.
