There are many good reasons to spell and use proper grammar. It is an important communications tool, so if you want to convey a thought or idea onto others, standardization makes it more powerful.

Here at eBaums, I along with most others make mistakes most of the time. No biggy, not my job man. So what happens if it is your job? What if in fact getting new business depends on proper communications? 

I received a phone call from a Web Page company called Fruit Engine. The Asian accented lady promised immediate results and requested if she could send me an E-Mail explaining their  services. I accepted.

When I read the letter I knew right away I would not be buying their services due to all the spelling and grammatical errors. I instead sent them a letter offering my services to correct all the mistakes in their brochure. I still have not received an answer.
