King of All Media

It doesn't really have to be reiterated that Howard Stern truly deserves his title of King of All Media. I absolutely love this guy; not only did he revolutionize the face of talk radio, but years after the fact, nearly all of his segments remain fresh, outlandish, and hilarious.

Radio content from this media legend is anything but mindless pablum. Though I regret I was too young during his "golden age" to be an avid listener, Youtube and satellite have been heavily relied upon to fill me in on anything I may have missed. The result is hours of classic segments and rantings I'm currently enjoying during my morning routine and cig breaks.

I know a lot of users are also frequent listeners and fans, so on a whim I've decided to highlight some of my most favorite Stern bits:

1.  Iranian Diplomats

Stern's sidekick and newswoman Robin Quivers mentions the Constituency's invitation for a 4th of July meeting with "diplomats" from Iran. Stern goes off on a tirade, vocalizing my (and I'm sure anyone's) exact sentiments.

2.  Kathie Lee's Autistic Kid

Stern just happened to be watching that horrific Kathie Lee show the day she dragged some autistic nerd on stage to be ridiculed by one of her thoughtless, abusive, musical works of "art". He plays the recording of the awful song before coming up with one of his own. PUSSY JUICE!!!

3.  Caller Dina

Some whiny bitch calls in to complain to Howard about his content, Artie's absence, and her Sirius subscription. Stern explodes, and we get seal sound effects galore.

4.  My Turban is Dirty

Who could forget when Sal and Richard made multiple prank calls to the foreign owner of that chicken place. Indian, Middle Eastern, who the fuck knows - it was hilarious.

5.  Angry Black Man on Marion Barry Survey

Those at the Stern show were flabbergasted anyone would want a cheating, crack-addicted dreg like Marion Barry as Mayor of D.C. (1994). So of course interviews took place to see what black citizens really thought of it. Needless to say, the answers were less than intelligent, and as expected, an angry black man calls in to ream Howard and Robin. He tries to stand up for the I.Q. of blacks in D.C., but fails miserably.

Any favorites? Best callers? Rants? Fights? Thank you guys for your suggestions ;)
