Aliens and Trannies

They say we're all so alike, yet so different. Or as Lewis Black once said, "we are all like snowflakes". Lol.

So I guess it doesn't seem too obnoxious - or does it? - when I find myself looking at different people, and thinking the weirdest fucking shit.

What I mean is, sometimes I'll catch a glimpse of someone and the strangest ideas or interpretations come to mind. No, I don't think it's some shallow reaction to checking out someone that would never fit my personal ideal of attractiveness, either. It's just that sometimes I'm literally at a loss when it comes to some random people. It's hard for me to articulate what pops into my head when faced with what I'm not sure I'm even looking at. If I try, the weirdest language erupts from my lips...

Like stuff I don't think anyone's ever used to describe another person before. Weird comparisons, connotations, like the stuff from a warped mind. Maybe I'm too into sci-fi. Maybe I have some awesome imagination. It makes me wonder if I could be gifted in a new field or just unaware that perhaps everyone thinks this way, in some form or another.

I'd be interested in seeing if it rings true for my friends or blog fans here :)

It's just been bugging me especially since I've been catching up on my Judge Judy episodes lately:

Here's this one weirdy I've seen in the gallery on many episodes. She freaks me out every time I watch the show and notice with a start she's sitting back there, darting her eyes around. Maybe it's the huge forehead and absence of lips, or it could be the bone structure, but the only thing that comes to mind when I'm forced to notice her is she looks like an alien disguised as a human.

Like my old Japanese Prof. told us Asians aren't used to the "overt 3 dimensional-ness" of a Westerner's face, this could be along the same lines from a different direction; due to some kind of aesthetic shock on my part, having an ideal in my mind of what an attractive or ''normal'' face is, becoming expectant of it, and instead feeling unease or disgust at something different.

But then again others have agreed with me.

Here's another interesting one, I think from the same ep. It could be lighting, lack of sleep, some type of medical deficiency, of course. But one thing's for certain as I watched - it sure as hell looked like eye makeup. And could've been. But what did that have to do with the case or this dude I don't even know? Nothing, really. Yet it was distracting. Cuz I spent practically the whole segment studying this dude and thinking he looks like he probably cross-dresses at night, or at least would make a quite convincing tranny.

Again, I'm trying to be fair here, so I'll definitely accept the distinct possibility maybe I've seen The Birdcage too many times, view too many effeminate dudes in porn, or are just being shallow. I'd mention again that a lot of ppl agree with me here too, except ppl agreeing on something doesn't make it true - ironically, especially in those cases where the vast majority agree on something (religion, anyone?).

But these thoughts still probably stand to indicate something, either about ourselves, our perceptions, culture, or other things I'm too tired to think about now. I just find this subject interesting and entertaining, too.

I'd love to perform some type of experiment to see if Mr. Defendant does in fact have an iron deficiency or wears dresses at night. Or if alien lady will bleed green if I cut her. But all this could be so commonplace in the minds of people that it's prolly the reason wars go on, or something.
