Hey ebaums

I've got a serious problem.

I have a friend named Katie. She's actually my best friend on planet earth. She's adorable, sweet, funny, and an all around fantastic girl. I'm head over heels in love with her. She recently got in to a relationship with a guy who we're gonna call "Steve". 

About a week ago, Katie came in to school with a bruise on her left cheek and several smaller bruises on the side of her throat. I asked her what happened and she said she got in to a fight with her sister. This was a plausible enough explanation considering the amount they fight, so I let it go.

The next day, I was speaking to some of her friends, and they told me that they thought "Steve" was abusing her. So, I went to speak to Katie. After a few minutes of coaxing, she burst in to tears and told me that "Steve" had indeed been beating her because she refused to have sex with him. She cried in to my arms for almost an hour.

Now I don't know about you guys ebaums, but that shit don't fly with me. So I confronted the little prick about it. Of course he denied everything and told me to "mind my own fucking business".

So ebaums, I'm torn. Do I go to someone in a position of authority? Do I help the woman I love stand up to the man abusing her?

Or do I take my switchblade and cut of his little fucking prick and stuff it down his throat before slicing him from ear to fucking ear and solve the goddamn problem myself?
