Is it worth watching? Yes. Regardless if you read the comics or not. Might help a little to watch Avengers and/or Thor 1 before this one though. Is it kid friendly? Yes. Do I stay after the initial credits? YES YES YES YES. Would the ladies want to go to it? Yes. There's easily a 60/40 split between men and women when I was there, and some of the women came on their own. Also, if the ladies you're with say no, just say to them "Chris Hemsworth without a shirt on." and they'll want to go. There was many a "oooooooh" from the ladies in the crowd. Should I stay until after the full credits? YES YES YES. Is there any good time to got o the washroom? NO. Sit your keister down and watch. The fight scenes rank up there with the fight in NYC from The Avengers movie and stand up to any fight scene I've seen so far in recent movies. Is there cameos from other Avengers characters? I won't say. And finally but must importantly: is there nudity? Sadly, No. Neither Natalie Portman nor Thor show off their "other armour." Bottom line: definitely worth the price of admission.
