6 Ridiculous Religions That Actually Exist

6 Ridiculous Religions That Actually Exist
Being I'm not a religious person in the slightest, the concept of organized religion just comes off as propaganda. Their purpose is to get you to believe in some insane theories and stories of magical people. People blindly hop on the band wagon and worship this beliefs. Here are seven truly ridiculous religions:

1)    Prince Philip Movement
The islanders of Tanna believe that Prince Philip of Edinburgh is a god. They believe he is a descendant of spirit ancestors. There is even a fucking shrine dedicated to the guy. Also they hope that he will one day return to live among them.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/australiaandthepacific/vanuatu/11563091/Why-a-tribe-in-Vanuatu-believes-their-god-Prince-Philip-is-set-to-visit.html

"This guy it totally going to abandon his great life and come life with us in our huts. Just you wait."

There has been a prediction by a prophet that in 2016 a great event will happen. This is of course the visit of Prince Philip. A massive cyclone is believed to be a precursor to his arrival. You know, nothing says get ready for a huge event like a storm coming and destroying your civilization. There's even a Facebook page for it.

2)    Raelism
This group was founded by a French racing driver named Claude Vorilhons. He claims to have been abducted by aliens and been given the name Rael. I like to think he was involved in some kind of racing accident, suffered some brain damage and this is a result.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raëlism

He says aliens abducted him and he was taken to an alien planet called Elohim. He was honored and met great people from Earth's history. These include: Jesus, Confucius, Buddha, and motherfucking Joseph Smith. The creator of Mormonism. This group believes that aliens used their DNA to make humans 25,000 years ago and that Earth will be visited by them in 2025. I don't know about you, but 2025 can't get here quick enough.

http://kizaz.com/2014/02/24/10-weirdest-religions-ever-to-exist/. Here's the groups official website. http://www.rael.org/. Also, the groups symbol is a godamn swastika embedded in the Star of David.

"No way is a swastika infused in the Star of David offensive in the slightest. The aliens wanted this. Jesus is cool with it don't worry." -Rael

It is believed that they contacted him because he's a racecar driver. Aliens totally love that shit.

3)    Pana Wave
I shit you not this involves Japan, a seal, and magnetic waves. A bearded seal was found in a Tokyo river. A group tried to capture it and return it to the Arctic where it belonged. This seal became in instant celebrity in Japan. They're weird like that over there. The group is a front for the Pana Wave.

To protect themselves from electromagnetic waves they wear and only use white sheets. Hmmmmmm. Another group that wears white sheets just popped into my mind.

Oh. Yeah. It's the KKK. They do it to protect from magnetic waves too, right?

These waves were said to harm the environment and cause global warming. And they are a weapon being used by Communists to hurt their leader. Putin really has nothing better to do with his time. Japanese seal people are his prime target.

They say the waves are why the seal got lost and returning the seal to it's habitat will prevent the end of the world. He evaded capture and has not been seen since 2004. The world should be ending any day now. One of their leaders died in 2006. Putin and the electromagnetic waves are definitely the culprits. Or it was the doomsday seal. Without a doubt it was the doomsday seal.

 4)    Nuwaubianism
This one is truly baffling. Founded by convicted child molester Dwight York, this religion is a mix a anti-white racism, aliens, and the Old Testament. He says white people are soulless devils. Not one thing about this is weird in the slightest. But it gets weirder. Bare with me.

York said that in the year 2000 he and 144,000 followers will return to the planet Rizq leaving Earth to see doomsday. It is thought that these followers are not white and are mostly children. This guy has some dark habits. York believes that the apparition of Gabriel that Muhammad saw was in fact a hologram recorded by "beings" and later showed to Hitler.

"White people are devils. The world is ending. Some kind of "beings" showed a hologram to Hitler. Yes this really happened. I fact check my shit."
Click the link posted above and see some more mind fuck beliefs that York believes. The last two being that aborted fetuses survive abortion, live in sewers, and are building an army to take over the world.

I think after a while York just started rambling and made up the weirdest shit he could think of just to see if people would believe it. It worked beyond his wildest dreams.

5)    Creativity Movement
Founded by Ben Klassen in 1973, this group's plan is to unite white people through a common white religion. The group teaches that what is good for the White Race is the ultimate good and what is bad for the White Race is the worst sin. He calls his beliefs "social racialism". More commonly known as the "I'm totally a racist prick beliefs." Activism for the group is against the Jews.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creativity_(religion)

The group was officially formed in 1973 when the book "Natures Eternal Religion" was written. In these early years, he attempted to recruit Neo-Nazis. In 1982 he made the group headquarters in North Carolina. In 1983, a school was built. He said that the school is  "for orienting and educating our children... to start first with our gifted — the most precious — and finally all our children in our own White schools where they will be oriented first and foremost to respect and cherish the value of their own race." They are taught how they can best serve their race.

"You got it all wrong. The robes and pointy hats are just uniforms."

6)    The Church of Maradona
Created by fans of retired soccer player Diego Maradona, they believe him to be the best player of all time. So instead of just praising him for being good at the sport, creating a fucking religion around the guy was the most logical step. They count the groups years since Diego was born in 1960. The group has their own version of the Ten Commandments. The last two are just insane. Members are told to change their middle name to Diego and name their sons Diego. What dedication these people have.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iglesia_Maradoniana

The group is criticized for naming Diego as the son of God despite him having drug problems. Argentinians mostly do not view him as a national hero. Apparently not angered by their godly leaders drug use, they do not stand for steroids. If they found of that he was juicing, the religion would collapse on itself, all members would engage in mass suicide, and the world would end. Or at the least, Argentina would never have a winning record again. That's the usually MO of cults right?

"Hold on guys! This is heroin! Not steroids."
