Justin Bieber Says His Peeing in a Restaurant’s Mop Bucket Was no Big Deal

In an new interview with Complex Magazine, King of Humility Justin Bieber says that he’s learned a lot and is more grown up and mature. Bieber also noted that prior arrests and scandals weren’t that big of a deal and he’s not sorry they happened.

In one of many very mature and adult moments during the interview, Bieber states that he was only picked up for his DUI because the arresting officer wanted to become famous for arresting famous people. When asked if he learned anything from the arrest, Bieber says he learned that it is very cold in jail. If you’re a pampered pop star used to hotboxing private jets with your dad, jail is probably pretty chilly. Bieber also mentioned that all the guys in jail with him told him they loved his work, because even felons get a case of Bieber Fever.

Continuing his efforts to show his new, more mature attitude, the pop singer was asked if he felt like any of his scandals had been overblown by the press. Bieber responded that the incident when he was videotaped peeing in a mop bucket on his way out of a nightclub in 2013 wasn’t that big a deal. For those who don’t remember the incident, Bieber and his entourage were at a New York City nightclub and were exiting through the kitchen, when Bieber paused to relieve himself in a mop bucket used to clean the floors. As he wrapped up, Bieber then made sure to say something derogatory about Bill Clinton for no reason whatsoever. But keep in mind that he has since matured to the point where he doesn’t think it’s a big deal or seem to regret it.

Bieber also discusses his faith in the interview, saying it is very deep and important to him but that he doesn’t like going to church to worship, because, in perhaps the wisest Bieber-ism in the whole interview, “going to Taco Bell doesn’t make you a taco.”

Bieber is preparing to release a new album he’s been working on with Rick Rubin and Kanye West, but says he’s recorded three or four other albums since his last release that he didn’t think were good enough. And when a man as wise as Bieber doesn’t think it’s good enough, you know they must have been terrible.
