A farmer walked out of his home to see a truck coming toward his house. A man got out of the truck and walked to him.
"I'm from the Humane Society. We've gotten reports that you have been mistreating your animals. I can read animals minds so I'm going to go talk to your horses." He walked to the barn and came back a few minutes later.
"They said that you don't give them enough fresh water, and you need to clean the stalls more. I'm going to go talk to your cows now." He walked to the pasture and came back a few minutes later.
"They said you need to milk them more often and give them more hay. So far these are just minor offenses, but I have to go talk to your sheep."
The farmer looked nervous and shouted, "Those sheep are liars! They are liars!!"
