Crazy WWII stories 1

Merchant marine Roy Dikkers was bombed to safety: The first torpedo that hit his tanker blasted the door to his quarters shut. The second torpedo broke it open. He reached the deck only to find himself engulfed in burning oil. There seemed to be no hope until a third torpedo blew him into the air, over the fire and deposited him safely in clear water beside a life raft. After drifting for three days, he was rescued by a Norwegian ship.
