Theres an American battleship out in foreign waters and all of a sudden 3 enemy battleships appear.
The captain of the ship turns to his First Mate and says, "Go fetch me my red shirt." So he does and the captain wears the red shirt during the battle.
The next day 10 enemy battleships occur. The captian again requests his red shirt. Curious, the first mate asks, "How come before every battle you change into your red shirt?"
The captain replied, "Well, if I am shot my blood will blend in with the shirt and the crew won't notice the wound and will not be distracted by their wounded Captain and continue the battle."
"That's pretty clever.", the First Mate said.
The next day over 500 enemy battle ships appered.
The captian turns to his First Mate and says, "Go get my red shirt, and while your at it get me my brown pants."
