A doctor was having an affair with a nurse at his work. The woman soon became pregnant and the doctor panics. He gives her plenty of money to move to another Italy, and tells her to send him a postcard with the word 'spaghetti' on it when she gives birth.

Nine months later his wife finds the postcard and gives it to the doctor, and he collapses with a heart attack. The wife was confused about this reaction as the post card only read 'Spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti. Three with meatballs and two without.'
